Assessment & Orientation

High school senior students who are interested in attending LBCC the Fall semester after high school graduation.

They are scheduled on selected Saturdays from February through May.

Check-in at 7:00 am and Testing is from 7:30 am to 2:30 pm.

Long Beach City College, Liberal Arts Campus at the Library (Bldg. L)

It's an opportunity for students to get a head start at Long Beach City College.  Students will:

  1. Complete English, Reading and Math Assessments
  2. Take a campus tour, receive Assessment results and plan first semester classes
  3. Learn about majors & transferring to a university, college clubs & sports
  4. Receive information about counseling, Financial Aid & other support services
  5. Receive an Early Fall Registration Date
  6. Enjoy free snacks
  1. All students need an email address
  2. Complete LBCC Admissions Application (free) at www.lbcc.edu
  3. Print, sign and mail in signature page to LBCC Admissions Office
  4. Obtain your LBCC Student ID # and Password by calling (562) 938-4485
  5. Prepare for Assessment at http://www.lbcc.edu/Assessment/test-prep.cfm
  6. Sign up for Early Bird
    1. LBUSD students go to your high school Career Center
    2. Students from other high schools contact Blanca Galicia at bgalicia@lbcc.edu
