Long Beach City College is now offering a text-based emergency notification service for your mobile phone. In the event of an emergency, LBCC students, staff, faculty and others will be alerted in real-time important campus safety and security information. Sign up is simple, just enter your mobile # below and reply Y to the text you receive.
Message and Data Rates May Apply. No more than 30 messages (emergency alerts) a month will be sent to subscribers. Subscription to the AlertU keyword does not expire. To unsubscribe, text STOP or UNSUB to 253788 (ALERTU). For support, text HELP to 253788 (ALERTU) or email support@alertu.org. Supported Carriers for the AlertU service are: AT&T, Alltel, Boost, CellularOne, NEXTEL, Sprint, T-Mobile, U.S. Cellular and Verizon Wireless. Campaign / service is compatible with most handsets. Participation must be made by the account holder.
