The Long Beach Community College District will work with Valley Economic Development Center (VEDC), a Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI), to provide loans to local businesses.  Through the partnership with VEDC, loans will be available to qualifying small businesses that lack access to affordable capital or that do not qualify for traditional sources of credit.
