Song-Brown Health Care Workforce Training Act - Registered Nursing Education Program, Capitation

In partnership with the California Healthcare Workforce Policy Commission, this grant-funded program develops courses that help nursing students pass the NCLEX (State Board Examination).

Our strategies address academic barriers to success, and we apply best practices and successful pilot project models.

The courses include ongling mentoring and counseling through a successful case manager model, language, math, and study skills assessments, and workshops that align with the needs of the student to promote and foster success.

Through the support of this grant, we support the re-entry student who has returned to school to pursue and successfully complete the Associate Degree of Nursing Program and pass the State Board Examination (NCLEX).
