Overview of Honors Program
Honors Program

For over 75 years, Long Beach City College has developed innovative educational programs to serve the public. In 1980, the College established the Honors Program to better serve intellectually ambitious, high-achieving students. Today, the program is an important element of the College's curriculum, and its graduates have proven records of success in professional and graduate schools, as well as at the baccalaureate level.

Recent graduates of the Honors Program have transferred to such schools as Yale, Stanford, UCLA, USC, UC Berkeley, UCI, UC San Diego, UC Santa Cruz, UC Davis, UC Santa Barbara, CSULB, and CSUF.

The Honors Program is housed in the Library, Room L162, on the LAC campus.
