Application
Honors Program

To apply to the Honors Program, please do the following:

  1. Submit online application. Please complete and submit an online Honors Program Application
  2. Obtain online recommendations from two teachers/professors. Give your recommender your 7-digit LBCC student ID number. Email them this link to the online recommendation form: http://www.lbcc.edu/Honors/FacultyRecom.cfm
  3. Submit most current transcript with grades (unofficial is acceptable). Email a legible copy of your transcript in which your name appears to honors@lbcc.edu

In addition, if you are a current high school student, you may include the following to enhance your application:

  1. A copy of your SAT/ACT scores (if you took either test)
  2. A copy of all AP test scores (if you took any)

Applications are accepted throughout the year although priority will be given to those received by the application deadlines. The deadline for fall admission is May 1. The deadline for spring admission is November 1.

Admission decisions will be announced (by email) before registration opens. If you do not receive an email by then, please contact the office regarding the status of your application.

You may submit all required materials (listed above) to the Honors Program Office (L-162) in the back of the library. If no one is in the office, you may slide materials under the door. Or you may email them to honors@lbcc.edu .

Please note that the Admissions and Records office is not associated with the Honors Program, so you will need to submit materials directly to the Honors Program even if you have already submitted those materials to Admissions and Records.
