What are employee ID cards?
Your employee identification card is a non-transferable document which serves as identification for campus services and activities. Regular bargaining unit employees* of the district, Bond Management Team, and Associated Student Body are issued these cards. They are mandatory, and are issued when a new employee is hired. Replacement cards are issued when the original card expires.
What information is displayed on the card?
The card displays an employee's name, their employee ID number with the district, and their employment category. A photograph of the employee confirms the card holder's identity. The card's expiration date is also shown.
In the interest of privacy and security, no social security number or personal contact information are displayed.
What benefits does it entitle an employee to?

- A 10% discount on purchases from the ASB bookstore
- Allows employee to check out library materials
- Free admission for the employee and one guest to ASB athletic contests and other events
- Verification as a current employee for all other employee services and events
Where do I get my ID card?
Cards are issued from the HR office, room V90 (Directions and Office Hours). Be forewarned that your photograph will be taken, but the card will be available immediately after.
When will an ID card expire?
Your card's expiration date depends on your employee category.
Classified Service: Cards issued now will expire June 30, 2008 (last names beginning with A-L), or December 31, 2008 (last names beginning with M-Z).
Full-Time Faculty: Cards issued now will expire June 30, 2009 (last names beginning with A-L), or December 31, 2009 (last names beginning with M-Z).
Management Team: Cards issued now will expire June 30, 2010.
Part-Time Faculty, and other categories: Cards issued now will expire June 30, 2008.
What if an ID card is lost or stolen?
Replacement cards will be furnished by HR. There is a $5.00 replacement fee to cover the cost of materials.

* Note that LTE's, student workers, presenters, and/or other non-bargaining unit employees (except for certain event assistants) are excluded and do not receive a card.
