Institutional Effectiveness

The Office of Institutional Effectiveness supports the District's planning and operational information needs through data and enrollment analysis as well as identifying trends, and preparing research reports to assist the Board, senior management, departments, students and the public.

The Office of Institutional Effectiveness is an information source and warehouse for many college statistics. We facilitate the systematic collection, maintenance, analysis and reporting of institutional information. It is a service office that is available to help the college community understand itself and present itself by providing timely, accurate, and useful information to decision makers. Much of this information is published in reports, presentations and other formats that are available on our Web site.

Research Request Form

November 2014 update: Please note that internal research requests may temporarily take somewhat longer to process as the office restaffs over the next few months.  External research requests will, by necessity, receive a very low priority, and will be very unlikely to be approved for the time being.  Please accept our sincere apologies for any inconvenience this may cause as the office goes through this period of adjustment.

Internal Request Form - for LBCC Faculty, Staff and Administration only

The Internal Research Request Form is used by LBCC faculty, staff and administration to request data and research support from the Office of Institutional Effectiveness.

External Request Form

The External Research Request Form is used for external requests to conduct original research at Long Beach City College.

Once you complete the request, you will be emailed a copy of your request for your records. Once the Office of Institutional Effectiveness has had the opportunity to review the request, we will contact you to discuss the project.  If you have any questions, please email research@lbcc.edu.

Thank you.
