Study Rooms

The LAC study rooms are located in L-212.  There are three small rooms and one larger room.  Each room is equipped with a table, chairs, and a network connection.  You must present a current student ID card to use a room.

The LAR department PCC study rooms are located in the EE-206.   A variety of private study rooms are available for small and medium sized groups.  All study rooms are equipped with tables, chairs, a network connection and most have a flat-screen display.  You must present a current student ID card to use a room on a drop in basis.

Multimedia Presentation Practice Room

The Multimedia Presentation Practice Room in L212 (LAC) is available to help students gain experience and confidence for their in-class presentations. The Presentation Room allows students to view themselves as they practice presentations, record, and burn their presentation to DVD. (Students must provide their own DVDs.)  Individual, partner, and small group presentations can be accommodated in the Practice Room.

Use of this room is by reservation only and students must present a current LBCC Student ID card. Reservations for the room are made at the front counter of the LAC Multidisciplinary Student Success Center (L-212) or by phone (562.938.4699). The room is available for use by current LBCC students for two-hour sessions.
