What is the SANKOFA Scholars Association?

The SANKOFA Scholars Association is for past participants of the Learning Community and other LBCC students who are planning to transfer or pursue an Associate Degree. As a SANKOFA Scholars Associate, you will receive counseling services and be invited to various events throughout the academic year. In addition, you will be considered for scholarships and other awards based on your academic achievements at LBCC.

All SANKOFA Scholars Associates are eligible to apply to the Learning Community if they meet the English eligibility requirement for the upcoming semester.
