Students & Teachers Achieving Results (S.T.A.R.) offers two learning communities designed to support students improve their reading and writing skills and be successful in college.
STAR 1 includes English 801A/B, Read 882, Counseling 1, and Counseling 49. Students also participate in tutoring, academic counseling, and motivational activities outside of class. STAR 1 students must be eligible for English 801 A/B & Read 882.
STAR 2 includes English 801A/B and Read 883. Students also participate in tutoring, academic counseling, and motivational activities outside of class. STAR 2 students must be eligible for English 801 A/B & Read 883.
