Please see the individual program pages on the left for information about ensemble auditions and contact information.

Applied Program Auditions

Open auditions for Spring 2012 are now available for application (below). NOTE: Please read the program requirements necessary for enrollment in this course; this is a demanding program designed for transferring music majors only. Spring 2012 open auditions will be Friday, Jan. 13th, Ruth Todd Recital Hall (G122), 9:00am - 10:00am. Please sign up outside H208, starting Monday, Jan. 9th.

Repertoire

Please prepare two contrasting pieces (or movements) representative of the standard repertoire of your instrument or voice; for vocalists, this should (preferably) include something in English and one other language (Italian, German, or French); the Academic Applied program is designed for study of the standard classical repertoire

Application

Please fill out the Online Application *before* coming to the auditions. Please see the Applied Program information page for more details and program requirements.

Additional Information

Admission to private lessons is dependent on the audition; those lacking sufficient experience, technique, or repertoire will be advised to enroll in a performance class (beginning/advanced voice, piano class, guitar class, etc.) if they wish to audition again for the subsequent semester.
