Administration-Building A

Students visit the Financial Aid Office, located within this building, to find financial resources to support them through college. Students also go to the Counseling Center and Transfer Center, a place where counselors work closely with students to plan their educational goals.

This building also houses Student Relations (Scholarship & Long Beach College Promise), Assessment, Disabled Student Program, EOPS, and the Office of Admissions and Records.

Electric & Architecture-Building B

The Long Beach City College Underwater Robotics team placed second in an international underwater robotics competition featuring schools from 6 countries like MIT, Columbia Institute of Technology, and UC Santa Cruz.

Nursing & Health Technologies-Building C

The faculty in the nursing department is committed to an educational philosophy that emphasizes theoretical and clinical competency. At completion of the program, the graduate is qualified to take the national council licensing examination for vocational-practical nursing.

Hospitality is the 2nd fastest-growing industry in America. Classes involve supervised training in highly-reputed restaurants, hotels while gaining experience in nutrition, sanitation, food preparation & production, baking & pastry, catering, menu planning.

Fashion Design & Merchandising-Building F

The Fashion Design certificate program provides an in-depth study of the skills and knowledge required for many careers. Students join the Fashion Network. Participation which provides opportunities to meet practicing professionals, explore career paths, develop leadership skills, attend fashion shows, field trips, guest speakers and scholarships as well as educational and career opportunities.

The LBCC music department some amazing talents among the teaching staff that help students reach there full potential. The academic program will help to prepare students for testing and auditions and is key to getting in a music program.

Theatre, Dance & Film-Building J

Long Beach City College offers acclaimed programs in Theatre, Dance & Film. The department's performance program produces at least seven main stage productions a year and two dance concerts. The Theatre program are taught by instructors who are active professionals in their field. In the technical theatre area Stage Scenery, Stage Lighting, Costume Crafts, Costume Design, Stage Makeup and Stage Management are taught by award-winning faculty designers.

Athletics-Building Q & R

Since capturing its first state title in 1928, the Long Beach City College athletic program continues to make a name in collegiate sports. To date, Long Beach City College has won 16 national titles, seven runner-up national titles, 86 state titles, and 47 state runner-up titles.
