2. Admissions and Records > Click on Student Records

3. Grading > Click on Online Grades (Instructors)

4. Online Grades (Instructors) link

OR, use the Main Menu, as shown below.

How to enter grades
Enter the term for which you are entering grades and then click the Search button. Fall 2010 is 1455 and Spring 2011 is 1460.
If you do not know the 4-digit value for the term, click on the magnifying glass and search for the term. In the example below, a search is performed for all Terms in 2010.

In this example, we have selected 1455 (Fall 2010).

Next, click on the Search button. All the instructor courses for the 1455 term will be displayed as shown below.

Click on the grade roster link to update the grades. In this example, Art 91AD, class number 72350 is selected. The following screen will be displayed.

Enter the grades for the courses in the Grade column. Invalid entries will result in an error message. For example, for this class a grade of NS is only valid prior to 9/5/2010 as defined in the Drop Deadlines box.

After the grades are posted
Once the grades are posted, two of the students in our example will be marked as withdrawn. These are the students who were awarded the grade of W. This is also referred to as an instructor drop. The image below is from the Grade Roster.

Notice that 4 students are enrolled in this course. Since the grades were posted after census the withdrawn students are counted as enrolled.

The grade roster with the posted grades is shown below.
All of the grades are marked as posted.

The grades cannot be edited at this point and they can only be changed with a grade change request, as per state regulations.
Printing the completed grades page for your records
It is a good idea to print this page when you are done.
You may have to do some troubleshooting as you print from the Internet Browser. If the type on the page is too small, change the page orientation to Landscape, using File > Page SetUp. Printing instructions available here.
