Start:
To access the Faculty Office Hours area, follow the path above, or go to the "Instructor Office/TBA Hours link."

To go back to the Home Page, click on home.
Set the Correct Term:
Only future terms are available for selection. The current term will be available within two weeks of the first day of class of a regular session.
If you don't know the term number, use the magnifying glass to look it up.
Hint: Academic Term - Be very careful with adding or deleting a term. The system will give you an error message if you try to add a new term with the same Term value:
If you only have one term created and try to delete it, you will lose all the information entered: But, the system will not let you save it unless you enter all the information again:
So, to get out of this mess, it is better off just click on the"Return to Search" icon, which can be found at the bottom of the page, and then click on Cancel: Nothing is lost since you haven't been able to save it!
SEE BELOW: Click the plus sign icon in the upper right to start a new term.

Enter Your Information:
Enter your Phone Number: Phone format - Enter the 10-digit phone number then hit the tab key (from the keyboard), the system will format it for you:

Enter the Time: Time format - Enter all 4 digits (including leading zero) and the system will format it correctly when you Save or add another row:

OFFICE HOUR CATEGORIES: New addition (March 2012): the pull-down menu now includes the categories Counseling, Dept Head, Librarian, Non-Class room Assignment and TBA Hours.

Add the Facility ID Field (Location/Room Number):
If you don't know the format of the room number, use the magnifying glass to look it up.

Add a New Line: Use the plus sign icon to add a new line.

Adding "TBA" Hours: You must add the Class Number when adding TBA hours.

Check the Correct Days: Make sure you check the correct days for each entry

Expand the grid:
Click on this icon to expand the grid

Fold the Grid:
Click on this icon to fold the grid:

When the grid is expanded, you will see the ID of the person who updated the entries, and the date they were last updated.
From Date/To Date:
The From Date/To Date are defaulted to use the term begin and end date. However, user can modify them to reflect the actual dates for that particular time. For example, 15-week classes, 9-week classes, etc. start with different dates. TBA hours could mean just one day, etc.

Searchfor another instructor's schedule:
Users have the capability to find another instructor's office hours either by EmplID or by Last Name and First Name. They are view only. Instructor cannot update someone else's schedule.

SaveYour Entries:
Scroll down to the lower left of the screen to save your entries.
