Search for Classes

The class search function is available on the main page of the Student Self-Service Center.  This is the green button entitled "Search for Classes."

 By clicking the "Search For Classes" button, the student is taken to a search parameters page.

Some basic information is needed in order to perform a class search.  First the term must be selected from the Term drop down menu. 
In this example, the search will be performed in the 2010 Fall course catalogue

A course subject can be selected from the Course Subject drop down menu as shown below.

All of LBCC courses are assigned a value in the Course Subject list.  The first part of the entire list is shown below.

Class search criteria are required for the search.  Select a course subject in the drop down box as shown below.  In this example, Art is selected.

Also, more parameters can be added for a more specific search.  For example, the search below will look for Art 23.  Note that only open classes will be displayed since that option is checked.

To add even more search parameters such as times, or descriptions, click on the Additional Search Criteria link shown in light green. 

Finally, click on the Search button at the bottom of the screen.

The Search results will be displayed as shown below.
