I grew up in Long Beach (Long Beach schools and LBCC) and got a BS in Chemistry from Stanford University and an MS in Biophysics at University of Rochester, NY.  I taught internationally in Germany and Nigeria for 8 years, then returned to Long Beach, where I have been since.  I have taught mostly Chemistry (presently Chem 2 and 1A) at LBCC, and am retired from the Math department at LB Wilson HS.
