Although I have been teaching at Long Beach City College for 15 years, I am delighted to be joining the Speech Communication Department in a new capacity as a full time faculty member. I teach a variety of courses here with a focus on Intercultural Communication and Oral Interpretation of Literature.  I co-host the Annual Oral Interpretation Showcase and look forward to sponsoring the Spoken Word club on campus in Fall 2011.  I feel privileged to teach at LBCC, as I am part of a team that helps this amazing student body flourish.

Welcome!
I have had the privilege of teaching Speech Communication classes at Long Beach City College since 1986. In fact, I was also a student here after graduating from Long Beach Jordan High School (and Lindbergh Middle School and Bret Harte Elementary School) as well as later as an "older" returning student.

It is an honor to be associated with LBCC and have the opportunity to work with the students. Please join our classes and be part of the Long Beach City College community.
