your supplemental  learning assistance requirement. 
 

Nursing  Math and APA Learning Assistance 

For students in the RN and VN nursing programs

Tutoring 

in a variety of subjects in L-203. Schedule a 30 minute appointment or drop-in for a session.

Supplemental Instruction (SI) 

Regularly scheduled discussion sessions that help students improve their study skills and earn higher grades.  
Discover the current list of courses that have SI sessions attached to them.

LBCC College Assessment Test preparation 

Individualized assistance and preparation for the college placement test (via BAE 601B)

TEAS Preparation  

Preparation and remediation for the TEAS test for the Associate Degree Nursing Program (via BAE 601B) 

English, reading, writing, and math skills improvement 

Individualized skills improvement  (via BAE 601B) . 

Online Study Skills workshops

Accessed online in the LAC (L-212 ) or PCC (EE-203) Multidisciplinary Student Success Centers 
or from any computer on or off campus.

Multimedia Presentation Practice Room 

This room can be reserved by current LBCC students with their ID card to record and view themselves practicing presentations that can be burned to a DVD.
