The Vocational Nursing Program is a full-time one year program. It is also designed to allow students to transition from Licensed Vocational Nursing Program to the Associate Degree Nursing Program (ADN). After completing the one-year program, LVN graduates who have completed all ADN prerequisites are eligible to apply to the ADN program to become a Registered Nurse.

Students who are certified nursing assistants (C.N.A.) or students who successfully complete VN 215 Fundamentals of Nursing course have met one of the prerequisites on the way to applying to the VN program. At the completion of the VN program, the graduate is qualified to take the national council licensing examination for vocational-practical nursing (NCLEX-VN/PN).
