Welcome to the International Business concentration at Long Beach City College, where you will have the opportunity to learn the theory and develop the practical skills which will enable you to continue toward the achievement of your academic and/or professional goals in the diverse fields of International Business or Logistics.

The 2 areas of study in the International Business concentration are International Business, in which the course work will provide a broad perspective of the traditional business functions from a more global perspective, and Logistics, in which the course work will provide a very detailed look at the specific areas of supply chain management and distribution.

 Course Offerings

Our objectives in the International Business curriculum are:
  • To meet the needs of students seeking to transfer into a Business program at a four-year university.
  • To aid students seeking to enter into, or retrain for, entry-level careers in the areas of International Business and/or Logistics.
  • To enhance the skills and advancement opportunities for those currently working in a profession tied to the field of International Business.
