Civil Rights Compliance Statement

The Long Beach Community College District does not discriminate in its admissions, educa-tional programs, activities or employment policies on the basis of race, age (over 40), sex, religious creed, ancestry, color, national origin, disability, medical condition, marital status, sexual orientation or status as a Vietnam era veteran. The District is subject to Title VI and VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Title IX of the Educational Amendments Act of 1972, the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, Sections 503 and 504 and the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990.

The lack of English language skills will not be a barrier to admission and participation in the District's programs.
