Congratulations to Long Beach (LBCC) Viking Class of 2014 for achieving this accomplishment. Certificates and Associates Degrees will be conferred to over 1500 graduates. Tickets will not be required for attending the ceremony and seating is on a first come, first serve basis. An "After Grad Reception" will be hosted immediately following the ceremony with photo opportunities, music and a chance to connect with your faculty and friends.

||Graduates line up at the south entrance of the track. All Grads must be in cap & gown.
|Faculty & Administrators, Board of Trustees & distinguished guests will meet & line up for procession.
||Commencement ceremony will include formal procession.
Seating according to Associates Degree or Certificates.
||After Grad Reception
||Meet your friends and take photos with families. Join in the in celebration with your faculty.
Stay in touch with Long Beach City College. Graduating students will receive a free one year membership to the LBCC Alumni Association if they sign up at the Commencement Rehearsal. Cap & Gown Rental/Purchase
Graduates must wear cap, gown and tassel to participate in the commencement ceremony. LBCC Viking Bookstore will have them available for purchase, along with class rings and custom announcements at Grad Finales from dates & times TBD. Faculty can place their orders for renting their caps & gowns in both Bookstores - April 15-16, 10:00am - 4:00pm at LAC; April 17, 10:00am - 4:00pm at PCC. Any Faculty interested in purchasing a cap & gown can place the order at the Grad Finales, or directly through Jostens. Cap and gown will be available for rental/purchase through Thursday, June 5, 2014 (day of Commencement).
Diplomas and Certificates
Once all grades are posted and your requirements have been met, your award will be posted on your permanent record. You will be notified via email when your diploma is ready to be picked up.

Disabled parking is available at the south side of the Veterans Stadium for individuals with a DMV placard/ DP plate. Wheelchair access is available at the south end of the stadium and ushers will be present throughout the stadium to assist as needed.
Parking is free during the Commencement Ceremony. Please enter off of Conant St., south of the stadium from Carson St. Graduates should park or be dropped off near the CHECK IN canopy at the south end of Veterans Stadium. All other guests' can park throughout Veterans Stadium parking lot. Persons with disabilities will be directed to park in disabled parking at the east side of Veterans Stadium. Anticipate congestion and traffic delays along Clark and Carson St. before and after the commencement ceremony. Professional photos can be viewed and purchased through Grad Images. Graduates will visit www.gradimages.com to view and order their pictures. Contact the Customer Service Department at 1.800.261.2576 if you have any questions.
Programs will be available upon entrance to the Commencement Ceremony, highlighting graduates, the program and distinguished guests.
Rehearsal is strongly recommended for all students planning to participate in the Commencement Ceremony. Rehearsal is scheduled for Wednesday, June 4, 2014 at 6:00p.m. and will last approximately one hour. Line up at the south side of the stadium, look for the CHECK IN station and follow important instructions.
LBCC Commencement will available in the next few days! LBCC Instructional Media Production Services Department will be recording the commencement ceremony. This video will shown on the LBCC community channels 2 days after the event on channels 15 (Long Beach), 29 (Lakewood), 45 (Verizon Fios).
