The Summer Request for Financial Aid form is now available in Financial Aid Forms. If you received a full time Pell Grant in the fall and spring, you have received all your funds for this school year and won’t be eligible for summer. If you didn’t receive it in the fall or spring or were part time, submit it after you have registered for summer classes. Within a few days your form will be downloaded and will appear as a Received item in your To Do List. When it’s gone it’s been reviewed. An award will appear under View Financial Aid if you are eligible.

Emails announcing Satisfactory Academic Progress Workshops in May were sent to all students required to submit an Appeal for Extension to receive financial aid. The Appeal for Extension form will only be available at the workshops. Sign up now in the Financial Aid Office from 9:00-12:00 and 2:00-4:00 Monday-Thursday. Seating is limited. See the email for details.

The Summer Request for Financial Aid form will be appearing next week after registration starts on Monday, May 13. Complete and submit it online only after you have registered for classes. If you received a full time award for Fall 2012 and Spring 2013 you won't be eligible for Summer.

The first disbursement of financial aid for Summer will be June 14.

Missing Information Emails and Letters for 2014 are being sent weekly. Required items also will appear in your To Do list in your Online Student Center. Complete your file ASAP to receive financial aid in the first Fall disbursement on August 30.

If you and/or your parents filed taxes but didn't use the IRS DRT when completing your file there is still time to correct your FAFSA. If you do we won't need a tax return transcript. Your financial aid will be awarded much faster.

Still haven't completed your FAFSA? Wow! Submit it ASAP! There is still time. Use the IRS DRT and you probably won't be selected for verification and you’ll be awarded financial aid much faster.

The deadline for applying for a loan for the 2012-13 year has passed. Applications for loans for the 2013-14 school year will be available July 1.
