Alicia Kruizenga
Interim Dean
Student Affairs

Alicia Kruizenga is the interim dean of Student Affairs at Long Beach City College overseeing the International Student Office, ALCI, Scholarship, Outreach, Upward Bound, Gear Up, Summer Recreation Program and Student Life. She earned her B.A. degree in Communications with an emphasis in Public Relations from California State University, Fullerton and her M.A. degree in Organizational Leadership from Chapman University.

She has been working at LBCC since 2003. When she isn’t busy working with all her different departments, she enjoys spending time with her two children. 

Nelly Delgado

Interim Program Manager

 

Nelly  Delgado has been a Long Beach City College Classified Staff member since 1997 between both campuses (LAC/PCC). She is very acquainted with both campuses and has worked under Student Services for the last eight years. Born in Guadalajara, Mexico and grew up in Long Beach, CA and resides here.

"When I first arrived to the U.S.A. it was a whole new world for me, and this is where I can relate with our international students who come to this country for the first time. I am fluent in English and Spanish. I am very devoted in helping others and always here to listen if you need someone to talk to in a time of need."

 

Judy Oh

Judy Oh
Counselor

Judy Oh is a full-time International Student Counselor at Long Beach City College. She earned her B.A. degree in Art and Psychology from University of California, Berkeley and her M.S. degree in Counseling from California State University, Los Angeles.

She has been working at LBCC since 1995 in the Counseling and Student Development Department. She enjoys working with international students because she learns so much from them. Judy offers academic, career and personal counseling.
