Outlook Web Access Instructions

Accessing Email over the Web:

  1. Click on the "Log in to Outlook Web Access" link or button.
  2. Select the level of OWA Security you wish to use. [Click (show explanation) for additional descriptions]

  • This is a public or shared computer: Use this in a less-secure setting like a lab or internet cafe.
  • This is a private computer: Use this on a password-protected home or office computer where you are the only user.

  • Alternatively, you may choose to Use Outlook Web Access Light. This option provides faster login times across slower connections (such as dial-up) and is multi-platform friendly. If you are using Internet Explorer v6+, you may want to use this option when you don't need the full-featured tools of Outlook and Outlook Web Access Premium. Note: If you are using a non-IE browser such as Firefox or Safari, the box will be checked and greyed out and you will be required to login using Outlook Web Access Light.
  1. Please enter your User Name only, followed by your Network Password.

    • Please Note: Your User Name is the first part of your email address (i.e. -- You do not need to add to your username).
    • Your password is the same password that you use to log on to the LBCCD network from your computer in your office. If you do not know what your LBCCD network password is, please contact the ACIT Help Desk @ (562) 938-4357.
  2. After you authenticate the first time on a computer, you will be prompted to set your default language and time zone.

  3. Please verify the default Language is English (United States) and the Current time zone is (GMT-08:00) Pacific Time (US & Canada). If you need, you may enable the blind and low vision experience which will then be set for this and all subsequent sessions.
