Change the Grading Basis

Some classes allow the student to change their grading basis.  For example, a student may elect to take a class for Pass/Fail instead of for a grade. 

Not all classes allow students to change their grading basis.

To change a grading basis, the student should start at the My Class Schedule screen and select the Main tab option of Enroll and the sub-tab option of Edit as shown below.
 

Under the section entitled Classes you are allowed to edit, there is a drop-down list.  These are the courses that can be edited.  If this list does not contain a specific course that means that the course is not available for editing.  This decision is made by Academic Services.

Notice in the example below that the drop-down list of courses only contains one course.  This is the only course that can be edited. 

Select the course and then click on the button entitled Proceed to Step 2 of 3.

In the Grading section, select the Pass/Not Pass option from the drop-down menu as shown below.

Then, click on the next button.

To make the change click on the green button entitled "Finish Editing".  The following confirmation message will appear.
