More than 700 scholarships are given each year, making our scholarship program one of the largest of all community colleges in California. Students are required to only fill out one application and the scholarship committee will match you with the appropriate scholarship, if you are eligible.
*Award notifications are currently being mailed out. Please check your USPS mail.
Application filing dates for the 2014-2015 school year:
Start: Tuesday, September 3, 2013
Ending: Friday, December 6, 2013 at 4 p.m.
2012-2013 Long Beach City College Scholarship Recipients
Spring 2013 Installments
**May 23, 2013 is the last day you can claim your scholarship
Your Spring 2013 installment will be available for pick-up starting Wednesday, January 9, 2013.
In order to claim your Spring 2013 scholarship award, please bring the following items to the scholarship office on or after Wednesday, January 9, 2013:
- Fall 2012 grades printout
- Spring 2013 enrollment/class schedule printout
- Spring 2013 sticker affixed to the back of your ID card if you are returning to LBCC (or proof you paid for your College Fee)
Once we have verified you have met your scholarship requirements, your scholarship will be available on your Higher One account on the designated days.
All scholarship awards will be sent to your
LBCC Higher One debit card/account.
