More than 700 scholarships are given each year, making our scholarship program one of the largest of all community colleges in California. Students are required to only fill out one application and the scholarship committee will match you with the appropriate scholarship, if you are eligible.
New application filing dates for the 2013-2014 school year:
Start: Tuesday, September 4, 2012
Ending: Friday, December 7, 2012 at 4 p.m.

Fall 2012 Installments
If you received an invitation to the Scholarship Reception on May 22, 2012 and were unable to attend, you can pick up your scholarship packet at the Scholarship Office on the LAC campus starting May 29, 2012. All information regarding your scholarship and requirements are in the packet.
Your Fall 2012 installment will be available for pick-up starting Wednesday August 8, 2012.
In order to claim your Fall 2012 scholarship award, please bring the following items to the scholarship office on or after Wednesday, August 8, 2012:
- Fall 2012 enrollment/class schedule
- Thank you letter to your donor(s)
- Fall 2012 sticker affixed to the back of your ID card if you are returning to LBCC
The last day to claim your Fall 2012 scholarship is Wednesday, December 12, 2012.
Once we have verified you have met your scholarship requirements, your scholarship will be available on your Higher One account on the designated days.
All scholarship awards will be sent to your
LBCC Higher One debit card/account.

Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities (HACU) National Internship Program
HACU National Internship Program (HNIP) matches students' interests, education background and experience with those of our federal and corporate partners. HNIP interns receive paid round-trip airfare, housing arrangement assistance, emergency medical insurance, a weekly stipend and participation in a two-day orientation in Washington, D.C. Throughout the internship, students also benefit from a wide range of professional, social and cultural activities.

Campus Explorer Exclusive Scholarship
The Campus Explorer Exclusive Scholarship (https://www.campusexplorer.com/campus-explorer-scholarships/) is a monthly $1,000 giveaway, designed to help students pay for their higher-education expenses. Every month, Campus Explorer will announce a new scholarship and a new way to win. A winner will be randomly selected from the entrants.
