Student Health Services
|
Health Services are located on both campuses and are staffed by nurse practitioners, registered nurses, and health service technicians. Services include: tuberculosis testing, glucose testing, cholesterol checks, physicals, clinic referrals, prescriptions, pregnancy tests, vision screening, blood pressure checks, first aid treatment, health counseling, over the counter medications for colds, flu and headache, and health-related programs such as the annual LBCC Health Fair.

OUR MISSION
Student Health Services provides optimal wellness through quality and accessible clinical care on-campus, and we extend our clinical services through maintaining partnerships within the Long Beach community. Through of all our interactions, Student Health Services engages students in making informed decisions about health-related concerns and empowers them to be self-directed health care consumers.
OUR VISION
Student Health Services is attentive to the diverse health educational needs of LBCC students. We intentionally integrate health education into all aspects of the college experience. It is our overarching goal to assist all LBCC students to improve health literacy for themselves and their families.
