Continuing Students

What do I need to do to register for classes for the next term if I am a continuing student?

  • Complete an application for admission and return it to the Admissions and Records Office prior to priority registration dates assignment so you can register by online or phone. Make an appointment to see a counselor to select your courses for the next term.

    • In person: Counseling Services Office - LAC Building A; PCC Building GG100
  • If you have not taken the SOAR assessment test, sign-up for the test by calling the Counseling Services Offices at either of the following:
    • LAC: (562) 938-4561, or
    • PCC: (562) 938-3920

Priority telephone registration is determined by the following criteria:

  • Completing the SOAR Assessment test
  • Meeting with a counselor and having an Educational Plan on file in the previous two semesters
