It is with much enthusiasm that the LBCC Foundation invites you to a townhall with Trustee Board President Uduak-Joe Ntuk and Interim Superintendent-President Dr. Mike Munoz to discuss the creation of the African American/Black Student Support Fund. The virtual event is being held Thursday, April 29 at 12pm and can be accessed on the College’s home page at www.lbcc.edu.

The purpose of this fund is to provide access and support to African American and Black identifying students as they enter the higher education system.

The College’s mission is to provide high-quality education and support services to the diverse Long Beach community. The Foundation strives to pave the way for student development and to offer resources to overcome obstacles. With this mindset, the African American/Black Student Support Fund will provide students the pathway to grow into socially conscious leaders who positively influence their communities.

The community’s support will be vital to the College’s and Foundation’s effort and we encourage you to learn more about the fund and contribute at www.lbcc.edu/aabssf
