Charlotte Jackson has over twenty years of teaching experience in French, Spanish, and ESL at the college and university levels.  She earned two B.A. degrees (in French and Spanish) as well as an M.A. degree in Spanish from CSU, Sacramento. Her M.A. degree in French is from UC Santa Barbara, where she was awarded the top prize (a scholarship to Quebec). In addition to travel to France, Belgium and Luxemburg, she has studied abroad in Quebec, Mexico (Michoacan), and Costa Rica. Her French skills served her well as a volunteer in Haiti for nine months, and she has also participated in service projects in Quebec, Mexico (Oaxaca and Tijuana), Guatemala, Peru and Costa Rica.  Additionally, she worked full time for six years in the developmental editing of college-level foreign language textbooks, authored ancillary materials, and has worked for a number of years as a freelance editor.
