Dr. Rajaram is a full-time faculty member in the Business Department at Long Beach City College where she teaches Macro Economic Analysis, Micro Economic Analysis, General Concepts in Economics, Macro and Micro Honors Courses.

Dr. Rajaram received a Bachelors of Arts degree from University of California, San Diego, and a Doctorate from the University of Colorado, Boulder with a concentration in Labor Economics and Immigration Economics.

Prior to joining Long Beach City College in 2012, Dr. Rajaram taught at Washington College in Maryland, and Whittier College in Whittier, California where she was a recipient of a prestigious teaching award. Dr. Rajaram’s teaching interest led to research work and a publication in the Journal of Economic Educators, 2011, volume 11, issue 2, titled Teaching Econometrics Using Formative Assessment.
