Career Center

The Career Center offers students with services designed to guide them with the career development process. Through the following activities, students receive information about career awareness, exploration, career planning, career readiness, and current economic trends to help inform their decisions about their educational and career goals.

The Career Center also works closely with our employer partners to promote internships and job opportunities as well as provide engagement opportunities through our Center for Community and Industry Partnerships. For faculty looking for classroom speakers or industry tours, the Career Center can arrange those connections.

Career coach

This powerful online service uses comprehensive labor market data to connect students with educational programs and help them find career opportunities. Career Coach is your one-stop shop or career recommendations, career wages, job openings, and assessing your professional skills. Students can also build a resume and browse live job postings unique to the City of Long Beach and LA County. 

As an employer looking for new talent, you can use the Career Coach Employer Portal to attract career-oriented students and new graduates from Long Beach City College. You can view applicants, download candidate resumes and share feedback with your hiring team all in one, convenient location.
