Submitting Public Comments
The public can comment on any open session items at the Academic Senate Meetings. While meetings are held remotely during the COVID-19 closure, you may submit your comments via email with a time limit of three minutes per comment. Typically, speaking for three minutes is approximately 450 words.
Public comments can be made by sending an email to Pamela Brackman, Academic Senate, Sr. Administrative Assistant (firstname.lastname@example.org) by 10:00 am PST on the day of the meeting. In your email, please provide your first and last name, and the agenda item/number you would like to comment on within the subject line. Submitted emails will be read during the meeting
LBCC uses a paperless method of managing Academic Senate meetings and agendas through the BoardDocs system. All meeting agendas and supporting documents are available on the Internet and the LBCC website through the BoardDocs link.
