College-Wide Self-Assessment Surveys

The Strategic Plan Oversight Taskforce has developed a number of short collegewide self-assessment surveys to capture multiple perspectives on a number of topics ranging from equitable student success and learning to build the community to infrastructure, technology, and human resources.

We invite you to complete one or more of these short surveys to provide your feedback on the importance of these topics and how well you think the college is doing in addressing these topics. Each survey should take no longer than 5 minutes. Your responses will remain confidential and will only be shared in the aggregate. The Strategic Plan Oversight Taskforce will be utilizing the results of these surveys to inform the goals and strategies in the new Strategic Plan.

Each of the following sections represents a theme that contains a number of college-wide self-assessment surveys on topics related to that theme. Click on one of the following sections to learn more about how to navigate and complete the surveys!

Please complete any surveys by no later than Friday, November 12, 2021.

Equitable Student Success and Learning

The surveys on this page pertain to equitable student success and learning. The Strategic Plan Oversight Taskforce invites you to complete one or more of these short surveys to provide your feedback on the importance of the following topics and how well you think the college is doing in addressing each topic. Each survey should take no longer than 5 minutes. Your responses will remain confidential and will only be shared in the aggregate.

  • Enrollment – Enrollment refers to student application, matriculation (steps to enroll at the college), and the course registration process
  • Course Success – Course success refers to students passing their courses
  • Persistence – Persistence refers to students continuing at the College each semester until they reach their educational goal.
  • Completions – Completions refers to student completion of awards including degrees and certificates.
  • Transfer – Transfers refer to students transferring to a four-year institution.
  • Closing Equity Gaps – Closing Equity Gaps refers to identifying students that are disproportionately impacted and the activities that ensure all students can achieve their educational goals equitably.
  • Employment – Employment refers to students entering the workforce following completion of their educational goal(s).
  • Student Learning – Student Learning refers to student learning in and outside of the classroom at LBCC.
  • Student Experience – Student Experience refers to student interactions in and outside of the classroom at LBCC.

Diversity, Inclusivity, Communication, and A Sense of Belonging in the Workplace

The surveys on this page pertain to diversity, inclusivity, communication, and a sense of belonging in the workplace at LBCC. The Strategic Plan Oversight Taskforce invites you to complete one or more of these short surveys to provide your feedback on the importance of the following topics and how well you think the college is doing in addressing each topic.  Each survey should take no longer than 5 minutes. Your responses will remain confidential and will only be shared in the aggregate.

Supporting a Diverse and Inclusive Workplace

Supporting a diverse and inclusive workplace refers to the experience of our LBCC employees in feeling supported through practices focused on diversity and inclusion at the College.

Supporting a Sense of Belonging and Affirming Contributions of all Employee/Students

Supporting a Sense of Belonging and Affirming Contributions of all Employees/Students refers to college constituencies feeling that they belong at LBCC and that their contributions are acknowledged and celebrated.

Internal Communication

Communication refers to internal communications including mechanisms by which information is disseminated.

Attracting a Diverse Workforce

Attracting a Diverse Workforce refers to College recruitment and hiring processes and practices.

External Communication and Community Outreach
