FPD Conference Information

travel authorization form must be completed for each conference for which you are requesting funds. Please use the current form; old forms will be returned to the applicant.     

Your request must be received by the grant source office at least 30 days before your date of travel. Prepayment cannot be guaranteed for applications not submitted within this time frame. 

Various sources of funding are available for full-time and part-time faculty to attend conferences. Please review the table below to determine if you qualify to receive funding from any of these sources. You must attach the appropriate supplemental form and required documentation to your Travel Authorization Form before submitting your request to the respective grant source office. All signatures must be original; photocopies will not be accepted. Please read instructions on the Travel Authorization Form thoroughly in order to avoid delays in processing.

Who qualifies?

-Full-time faculty: first request will be fully-funded; additional requests during fiscal year will be funded up to $300

-Part-time faculty: up to $350 per fiscal year

-Counselors: Please apply for SSSP grant first. FPD grant will only be considered if SSSP is not approved.

-Faculty attending conferences aimed at addressing gaps in student equity.

-Out-of-state conferences will not be funded.

-Faculty attending conferences aimed at addressing SSSP core services.

-COUNSELORS: Please apply for SSSP grant first. FPD grant will only be considered if SSSP is not approved. 

-CTE faculty

-Teams of CTE & non-CTE faculty

-Non-CTE faculty attending a CTE conference

For out-of-state travel, submit a CTEA Out-of-State Travel Request Form. Requests must be submitted at least 6 weeks before the date of travel.
