High School Articulation
What is Articulation?
Faculty from LBCC and local school districts work together and agree certain college-level courses taught at the high school are comparable to a course offered at LBCC.
LBCC and local school districts partners create an Articulation Agreement. This creates an opportunity for students to earn college credits while still in high school.
What is the benefit of Articulation?
Articulated courses give high school students the potential to earn high school credits and community college units at the same time!
Students learn about different career occupations and pathways, reduce the time a student spends in college after high school and reach career goals faster!
How are LBCC units earn through Articulation?
Students must complete the High School Credit by Exam (link CBE tile) steps to be eligible for LBCC units. Students can receive college credit if the course and exam are passed within a specific score range.
