Make-Up Testing

The LAR Department currently offers a make-up testing service for LBCC courses and instructors only. In the Multidisciplinary Success Center facilities at both campuses, a supervised testing site is available for the following:

  • Current Long Beach City College students who have their instructor’s authorization to take a make-up exam. Make-up exams are not guaranteed, but a courtesy service provided to faculty if space and time allow.

Make-up exams can be taken during regular business hours.  Instructors should file a Make-Up Test Form with the department at least 24 hours prior to the requested testing date. Students must show a photo ID in order to take a make-up exam.

Our Assurances

The LAR Department at LBCC will:

  • Check all identification to verify the identity of the student taking an exam.
  • Monitor the student for the duration of the test to prevent irregularities.
  • Keep the test in a secure location.
Please note that the last day for Spring 2020 make-up testing at the Multidisciplinary Success Centers is Saturday, May 30th.
