There are two ways to establish a Long Beach City College scholarship:

  1. An annual Donation of $1500.00
  2. Establish an endowed scholarship.

Annual Donation

A minimum of $1500.00 per year must be donated in order to award a newly named scholarship each year. If the minimum donation is not received each year, the scholarship will not be awarded.

Endowed Scholarship

A minimum of $15,000.00 must be donated to a newly named scholarship and the interest on the endowed amount is the award given in the named scholarship each year.

If you are interested in establishing a new scholarship please complete the LBCC Scholarship Criteria Form and mail it to:

External Scholarships

If you would like to submit scholarship funds to a specific student from a club/organization, please mail the check to:

Please include the following in your mailing:

  • A letter with the Student Name and LBCC ID#, if possible.
  • Any criteria to determine eligibility (if applicable).
  • Your contact information
  • A check made out to the LBCC Foundation (with Student name and ID# in the memo).
