It is the mission of the study abroad program to provide innovative, equitable, and high impact global learning experiences that increase cultural awareness, global citizenship, and that reflect and enhance the rich diversity of the campus community.


Why Study Abroad?

Studying abroad can be an enlightening, empowering, exciting, and life-changing experience. You can also:

Earn Academic Credit

  • Long Beach City College students can earn academic credit by participating in study abroad programs.

Get Financial Support

  • Financial Aid: Receiving financial aid? Those funds can be used to study abroad.
  • Scholarships: Apply for a study abroad scholarship of up to $4,000.
