LBCC Black Heritage Month Kick-off Celebration

Long Beach City College kicked-off February as Black Heritage Month with events at both campuses. Students, faculty and staff enjoyed cultural performances, culinary tributes, and the release of the first “Black Student Resource Guide.”

Black Heritage Month will close out with two events. Rise: Black Voices will take place on Thurs., Feb. 27 from 5 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. at the P Building, Liberal Arts Campus. Rise: Honoring a Dream will be on Fri., Feb. 28 from 11 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. in the P Building Courtyard, LAC.
