Board of Trustees
The Board of Trustees governs the Long Beach Community College District and consists of five elected members, each representing one of the five trustee areas of the district. Voters in each of the areas elect the trustee to a four-year term.
Board of Trustee Goals
- Support the implementation of the 2016-2022 Strategic Plan.
- Improve Board governance.
- Support the implementation of an Enrollment Management Plan.
- Support strategies that improve the fiscal long-term health of the college and district, and devise strategies to improve access and affordability for all college students.
LBCC District Board of Trustees meetings will occur the 2nd or 4th Tuesdays of each month and are subject to change. Meetings are broadcasted daily on the following LBCC CABLE stations: Channel 15 Long Beach, Channel 29 Lakewood and FIOS Channel 45.
Closed session begins at 4:00 pm. The Open session begins at 5:00 pm.
