Financial Aid

Financial Aid funds are available for students to help them pay for their educational expenses. Most types of financial aid come from federal and state programs, which require completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Financial award funds are distributed based on a student’s demonstrated need. In addition to this, there are other aid programs that award funds based on financial need or merit.

If you are a student who is not a US Citizen or permanent resident but is attending college, you may be eligible for financial aid through the California Dream Act. The California Dream Act became law through the passage of two Assembly bills: AB130 and AB131. Both of these bills allow students who meet AB540 criteria to become eligible to apply for state funded financial aid.
