Dance, music, and theater are the art of presentation. The Performing Arts Department offers a wide range of classes in each of these creative disciplines: classical and modern dance, vocal and instrumental music, acting, and production and management in stage and film. Courses prepare students for their next step: be it a four-year college, specialty arts school or professional career. The department offers Associate of Arts degrees in dance, music, general theater arts, and acting. Students may also earn a certificate of accomplishment in media with an emphasis in commercials, film acting or voice-over. These classes will also build confidence and improve communication skills that can be used in any field.
