Come join the LBCC Horticulture Dept. for a Community Resource Fair featuring local garden groups and plant experts on Friday & Saturday, April 26-27 from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm. Walk the garden, smell the flowers, get some fresh air and enjoy the sunshine. Learn about horticulture products and make new friends. Fun for the entire family!

Local Garden Groups - Garden clubs, flower societies, representatives from local and historical gardens, sustainability groups, and more will be available to answer questions and educate participants on their areas of expertise.

Plant Experts - LBCC Horticulture students and alumni will be available to answer questions and provide garden or landscape tips and advice.

The Butterfly Whisperer - Our favorite local butterfly expert will be on hand, showing local varieties of butterflies and how to attract them to your garden.

• Bookmarks – Get your name written on a bookmark in a variety of beautiful lettering styles.
• Kid’s Art Area – Kids of all ages can hang out & try different drawing tools on their own or with the help of lettering artists.
• Hands-On Demonstrations – Origami, paper books & create a Mother’s Day card.
