Please be advised that due to a critical manufacturer’s recall of specific networking devices, the IITS Network Services Team has identified devices in our infrastructure that are covered under this recall. These network devices must be proactively replaced to avoid unplanned outages of critical infrastructure.

The IITS teams will be conducting the replacement of the defective appliances after hours to minimize the impact. However, during the operation, certain services may not be available including Internet, phones, or computer connectivity. 

Sporadic outages to services will occur between the hours of 10:00 pm - 5:00 am on: 

• Thursday, July 11 
• Friday, July 12 
• Saturday, July 13

Please note that this will be the first of three weekends where IITS will replace hardware during the summer. Future replacement dates are still to be determined.
