All classes that take place in T Bldg., LAC from 11am-2pm have been cancelled Wed., Oct. 11, 2023. Do not enter T Building. Classes resume today at 2pm. Click here for more info.

Dear Campus Community,

This morning, there was a small fire that took place at the T Building at Long Beach City College’s Liberal Arts Campus.

The Long Beach Fire Department has declared the situation at LBCC’s Liberal Arts Campus resolved and they have given the “all clear” sign. This means that all students and employees are allowed to enter in the T Building again. There were no injuries from this morning’s incident.

  • Reminder that all classes that take place in T Building from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. are CANCELLED today.
  • All classes scheduled for T Building today starting at 2 p.m. and later will resume as usual.

Both LBCC campuses are open. All other classes in other buildings at the Liberal Arts Campus and the Pacific Coast Campus will go on as scheduled.
