Nicole Glick
Dean, Language Arts & Communication
A former student at LBCC, Nicole Glick returned in 1999 as an English Department faculty member. She graduated Cum Laude and earned her B.A. from UC Riverside as an English major and Women’s Studies minor. After earning her M.A. in English from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, she returned to UC Riverside, completed her dissertation, “Transformational Poetry: Ecofeminism in Jeffers, Snyder, Rich and Coleman,” and earned her Ph.D. in English in 2004.
After two decades as a Professor, Composition Faculty Coordinator, and recipient of Excellence in Leadership and Outstanding Colleague awards, she became Dean of Language Arts and Communication. In this role, she continues to serve students and faculty, centering intentional work on equity, student success, and faculty growth through the oversight of the Center for Teaching and Learning. She believes that all have the capacity for meaningful learning and growth with curiosity, persistence, collaboration, and hope.
