Join us as we kick off Black History Month on Thurs., Feb. 6 with music, food, entertainment, fellowship, and more. For the first time in LBCC’s history, the Pan-African flag will be raised at both campuses. A flag raising ceremony will take place at 11:30 a.m. at the LAC flagpole between T Building and the parking structure. From 12-2pm, the Black History Month kickoff event will take place in T1200, LAC. This year’s theme is Black Labor: Celebrating Strength, Resilience, & Legacy.
